Dearest Hope

Dearest Hope is an upcoming work for Tenor Saxophone and Guitar, with an alternative version for Piano available. Commissioned by American saxophonist JJ Jamison, this new work reflects the uncertain and arduous process of building a life as a young adult in the music professional sphere. Dearest Hope utilizes modern styles of playing, including extended techniques, for both the saxophonist and guitarist/pianist. The work shall be 8-10 minutes in length and separated into 2-3 movements.

Paired with Three Bagatelles for Alto Saxophone and Piano, this new work is supported by the Eastman-Jamison Consortium. Consortium members gain exclusive performance rights upon release of the piece, all while directly contributing to the release of modern saxophone/guitar repertoire.
