Pietá

Commissioned by Christ Episcopal Church in Springfield, MO, Pietá is a new SATB choral work, setting Robert Bode’s text from his collection Crickets and Commas. The work also takes inspiration from Michelangelo’s sculpture of the same name. Though complete, the piece awaits publication — stay tuned for audio and score samples, which will be uploaded here.
